What About Literacy?
i would describe myself as advanced
not accepting: illiterate, one liners
illiterate/one liner — ≤1000 characters
not seeking this. may offer it to long time partners for a lil laugh and a giggle though
selective: semi-literate
semi-literate — 1000-2000 characters
semi-literate has something i've been trying out for more casual and/or narratives that would work more effectively with fast-paced actions. it's not really something i actively seek out but may accept those who are semi-literate if i see that we are compatible in many other ways.
yes: literate, advanced literate, novella
I've kept things simple here by having a quick and fast rule about more literate styles.
- literate — ≥2000 characters
- adv. lit — ≥3000 characters
- novella — ≥4000 characters
- it is rare i feel motivated to go beyond 5.5k characters as it takes me out of the story and momentum.
